I also worked on my log cabins a bit and started on another block for my sampler. It has been too hot to really get much accomplished. My son's bday is this weekend and we'll see how well he likes his quilt. :)

I just read your blog for the first time and I find it very interesting to see your progress on the sampler quilt (from the Elm Creek Quilt book series. I am a fan of those books too.) I hope you keep posting to your blog. Your progress has motivated me to start on some long awaited quilting projects. (including the same sampler quilt.)

Thanks. I enjoy seeing the progess others make on the quilt too. I love how different everyone's blocks look! I'm not going to be able to do much on the sampler blocks for awhile. Not until after I get some more Katrina quilts made.
